BREAKING | Chiefs release defender as squad shake-up continues

DStv Premiership side Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesday released defender Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya as the Soweto giants continue their squad shakeup in preparation for next season.

"Kaizer Chiefs and Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya have come to a decision to part ways," a Chiefs statement said.

"The defender joined Chiefs' development ranks before being promoted to the senior team in January 2018.

"Our well wishes to Siphosakhe for the future."

Arthur Zwane's side have so far released a number of players in a major overhaul of their playing personnel after an underwhelming campaign.

Big-name players such as Leonardo Castro, Samir Nurkovic, Lebogang Manyama, Bernard Parker, Daniel Cardoso, Dumisani Zuma, Daniel Akpeyi, Lazarous Kambole and Kearyn Baccus have all since departed in recent weeks.
