Highly-regarded tactician Cavin Johnson has refused to comment on intense speculation linking him to a return to South Africa with the vacant Orlando Pirates job.
Johnson currently forms part of countryman Pitso Mosimane’s technical team at Egyptian giants Al Ahly but is now being linked with a return home.
Johnson’s future at the Red Devils came under scrutiny last week after reports in Egypt suggested that Mosimane was in search of a replacement for the departing 62-year-old.
"I can’t talk about my future in football at the moment," Johnson tells KickOff.com.
The former Platinum Stars head coach, who has been mentioned as a possible successor to German Josef Zinnbauer, insisted he had no knowledge of any links to the Buccaneers.
"I don’t know anything about those rumours," Johnson added.
The experienced coach recently labelled the rumours as "unfounded" when speaking to Al Ahly TV. But the talk has refused to die down as the Pirates job remains vacant.
