Johnson tips Sundowns for the title

Usuthu were the first team to beat Sundowns in the league this season when they defeated them 2-0 at Loftus Stadium last week.

The Brazilians are currently trailing log leaders Bidvest Wits by six points with three games in hand. Pitso Mosimane's side have accumulated 31 points after 16 games so far this season.

Johnson believes the Brazilians will walk away with the title again.

"I still give it to Sundowns. Wits would be a close call," said Johnson after his side's win last Tuesday.

"They have the quality in the team. It's probably about getting the right players on the field and making sure the players do what the coaches want them to do.

"I always fancy Sundowns, they are a quality team."

Sundowns host Black Leopards at Loftus tonight, with Leopards wounded after they were beaten 3-0 by Bloemfontein Celtic in Mangaung on Saturday.
