New coach takes charge at Leopards

Premiership

KickOff.com can confirm that Black Leopards have moved Allan Clark to caretaker coach after suspending head coach Cavin Johnson.

This website revealed on Friday and reported this morning that Johnson's future at Leopards was in jeopardy, and can now confirm the club has relieved him of duty, albeit temporarily for now.

Clark's promotion from his assistant coach position comes after Johnson was called into a meeting and placed on suspension today following a string of poor results.

"Allan is now caretaker coach until further notice," a source at Leopards tells KickOff.com.

"Cavin is suspended until he faces the club's disciplinary committee."

Morgan Shivambu will remain as assistant coach for Lidoda Duvha.

Leopards are languishing down in 14th on the Absa Premiership table, level on points with bottom-clubs Polokwane City and AmaZulu.
