Cape Town City will have one of their key midfielders back when the 2019/20 campaign gets underway.
Midfielder Thabo Nodada has been out of action since February with a leg fracture, sustained in a match against Highlands Park.
At the time he got injured, Nodada was in fine form and had already been included in the Bafana Bafana squad during the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. He could have forced his way into the team had he not sustained the injury.
The Citizens have since confirmed that the hard working midfielder will be back to full fitness in three weeks. He is training with the team as they prepare for the new season and should be ready to start once the campaign gets underway.
There will be more competition in the middle of the park after City signed former Ajax Cape Town midfielder Travis Graham not long after Nodada and his partner Roland Putsche were ruled out for the rest of the season.
The Citizens have recently confirmed the signing of Abbubaker Mobara, who can also play in midfield.
