Cape Town City have announced the signings of two promising talents Bombay Reid and Sanele Gaxa ahead of the new season.
The Citizens have shown their intention to prepare for the future in the current window after losing the services of Kermit Erasmus to Mamelodi Sundowns as their ambitious project moves into a new phase.
Fagrie Lakay and Tashreeq Morris were both secured on new contracts this week, with the former signing a three-year deal after his loan stint from Bidvest Wits.
Now Jan Olde Riekerink's side has unveiled two new faces in the form of the 23-year-old goalkeeper Reid, who impressed with Steenberg United in the GladAfrica Championship last season, and 21-year-old Gaxa from AmaZulu.

The diminutive Gaxa bolsters their options in midfield and will look to break into the first-team this season after showing immense promise in KwaZulu-Natal since graduating from the Usuthu academy.
Both players have signed four-year contracts with The Citizens as they continue to develop lesser-known talents into the spotlight of the top-flight amongst their more established names.
Last week City also confirmed the signing of 23-year-old left-back Terrence Mashego from TS Galaxy, with Ebrahim Seedat moving in the opposite direction.
