CT City strikes partnership with Partizan

Cape Town City have confirmed a 'ground-breaking' partnership with Serbian giants FK Partizan that will see 'elite' talents move to Europe.

The ambitious DStv Premiership club who recently roped Eric Tinkler back as head coach after the sacking of Jan Olde Riekerink has started early with their preparations for next season.

Last week, owner John Comitis said a few exciting announcements should be expected from the club which has duly been delivered with news that the 27-time league champions will become an affiliate club.

A delegation of Deputy General Manager Mr Milorad Nikolić, director of the Youth Development, Mr Vanja Radinović, as well as Deputy Mr Goran Arnaut arrived in South Africa to confirm the exciting partnership.

It's been revealed that the club will be open to Citizens talents developing within their esteemed academy and also open to the idea of signing players directly to the first team.
