The striker, who is currently on the books of RCK in his homeland, has scored five goals in eight matches.
Last season, while he was on the books of Malaysian side Sabah FC, Traore scored 25 goals in 24 matches.
He has also had a stint with Etoile Filante, where he managed 17 goals in 20 matches. Traore has also played in Algeria.
Kabelo Sibiya, his representative in South Africa, tells KickOff.com that the player has attracted the interest of some local sides.
“We are in discussions with a few teams in the PSL at the moment. The teams are very interested in the player,” Sibiya says.
“For now, I am not at liberty to say which teams are actually interested in him. It is too early and could spoil our discussions.”
