Bucs defender makes Super Eagles Afcon squad


Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah is set to join teammate Gabadinho Mhango at next month's African Cup of Nations in Cameron after being named in the Nigerian squad for the continental tournament.

Ndah could potentially make his international debut at the tournament in January after impressing since securing a move to the DStv Premiership with Orlando Pirates.

The Bucs defender is among the final 28-man squad announced by coach Augustine Eguavoen to represent the Super Eagles at the 2021 Afcon tournament.

John Noble who features for Enyimba is alongside Ndah, the only African based players included in the 28-man squad with Ahmed Musa set to captain.

Nigeria last lifted the Afcon trophy in South Africa in 2013.

Ndah is set to join up with the Nigerian national team in Abuja on December 29 before travelling to Cameroon.

Mhango is another Buccaneers player set to participate in this year's tournament with Malawi.
