Ex-Zanaco sensation Boyd Musonda has had his contract with new team CS Sfaxien terminated after just five months.
According to Zambian publication Zamfoot, the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations winner will be coming to South Africa soon to join an unnamed PSL team.
Musonda, who joined the Tunisian giants on a three-year deal in July this year, decided to call it quits after going three months without being paid any salary.
"Yes, he has terminated his contract after three months without pay. He will join a PSL side next week," the player's agent Paricha Chikoye was quoted as saying.
Apparently Sfaxien still owe Zanaco the agreed fee and the Zambian side is now contemplating taking the matter to FIFA.
It is not quite clear which Absa Premiership side the 22-year-old has been linked with in South Africa, but SuperSport United and Baroka are believed to be in the race for his signature.
