Benni's headache ahead of KZN derby

AmaZulu coach Benni McCarthy has a huge selection dilemma ahead of the big game against Maritzburg United on Sunday as he welcomes back two star players.

Bonginkosi Ntuli and Siphesihle Maduna are yet to feature this season after being out due to injuries and according to McCarthy, both players have fully recovered and are available for selection in the KwaZulu-Natal derby.

"Both players are very good, they trained 100 percent and very good effort, good spirit and the quality has just stepped up," McCarthy told the club's media team.

"So I think I'm having headaches now about selecting a starting eleven and squad for Sunday."

McCarthy admits that both players are key to the team and that gives him a bit of stress to come up with the final eleven to face in-form United.

"But as a coach you can only ask to have your best players available and yeah, these are two exciting players that know their way in the PSL," he said.

"So yeah I'm looking forward to seeing where I'm slotting [them] in the team, because they might play a crucial role in us having success come Sunday."
