Leopards only open to 'big offers'

Black Leopards boss David Thidiela says he will only consider ridiculous offers if he is to sell his star player to any PSL club next season.

Tiklas Thutlwa has enjoyed a promising showing in his first season in PSL, which saw him score two goals in 15 appearances for Leopards in 2020/21, despite the club suffering relegation.

The 22-year-old midfielder's exploits has now seen him included in the Bafana Bafana squad to participate in the upcoming COSAFA Cup to be played on home soil next month.

Despite already having attracted interest from a number of PSL clubs, Thidiela has assured Lidoda Duvha supporters that Thutlwa will remain with the club next season.

"We are not going to sell him, unless there is a big offer. But for other reasons, we are not going to sell him because we want to come back to PSL," Thidiela tells KickOff.com.

Meanwhile midfielder Nkosinathi  Onyedikachi Ononogbu has returned to JDR Stars after his loan spell with the Limpopo outfit ended, while the likes of Ovidy Karuru and Edwin Gyimah are headed through the exit door.
