PSL club to release star players

Premiership

Black Leopards are expected to get rid of some of their highest-earners at the club following their relegation from the DStv Premiership.

Leopards have already been relegated to the Gladafrica Championship before the league final on Saturday after their 3-1 defeat at the hands of Cape Town City this week.

Lidoda Duvha are expected to keep Morgan Shivambo and Mongezi Bobe in their technical team set up as they begin their journey in the second tier.

According to sources close to the Limpopo based side, Ovidy Karuru and Edwin Gyimah are expected to leave the club at the end of the season.

"The club is cutting their budget and more players are going out. They are going to promote some few players in their MDC team as they prepare life in the Gladafrica championship league," the source tells KickOff.com.

"Ovidy Karuru and Edwin Gyimah are some of [the] players set for [the] exit door."

Leopards end their disappointing campaign in the PSL with a clash against Bloemfontein Celtic at the Thohoyandou Stadium in Limpopo tomorrow.
