Following the sacking of Clinton Larsen as the coach of Chippa United, KickOff.com has learnt that another is living on borrowed time.
Black Leopards coach Lionel Soccoia could be next in line to walk the plank after Leopards suffered their third loss in the league this season.
Lidoda Duvha were beaten 2-0 by Baroka in the Limpopo derby played at Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday and are now hovering two points above the relegation places in 12th position.
According to a reliable source close to the Limpopo side, Soccoia has been given their next game against Stellenbosch in Cape Town to prove himself or be shown the back door.
"Soccoia's days at Black Leopards are numbered. Only a good result against Stellenbosch can save his job," the source tells KickOff.com.
"Some supporters met with the club management yesterday and expressed their disappointment with the way the team is playing. Anything is possible, even this week [he might be sacked]."
Efforts to get hold of Leopards boss David Thidiela proved futile.
Leopards signed a number of high-profile players in the off-season including Thuso Phala and Thabo Matlaba, but that investment has not yet paid off.
