KickOff.com has gathered that Cameroon forward Bienvenu Eva Nga’s departure from Chippa United has been sealed ahead of his move to a Gauteng club.
This website has been informed that Eva Nga will leave at the end of the season.
Though he has scored 10 goals in leading the scoring at the club and sitting third on the league’s top scorers list, word reaching KickOff from within the club is that Eva Nga has faced numerous challenges.
The forceful forward is said to have frequently had to deal with financial challenges emanating from matters related to payment of his salary and signing on fees.
Eva Nga is said to be unhappy with how he has been treated at the club despite the efforts that he has made to even play through pain when battling injury niggles.
His displeasure reached a peak this week following a series of internal events relating to his contract and how he will leave the club for a Gauteng based club.
Kaizer Chiefs have for long been keen but didn’t reach an agreement over his personal terms and then withdraw.
However, a deal to yet another club has been worked out with Eva Nga having travelled to Johannesburg last week though there was also interest from AmaZulu.
SuperSport have recently also been strongly linked with a transfer for the in-demand striker as KickOff revealed.
Chippa has worked a way around getting a transfer fee for Eva Nga.
Eva Nga has scored 10 goals in 28 appearances for Chippa – who have struggled in the bottom half and still need to avoid getting sucked into the relegation play-offs with games against fellow strugglers Swallows and TS Galaxy to play.
Chippa travel to Dobsonville Stadium on Saturday.
The Cameroon forward has also played for Bidvest Wits in the PSL.
