Bucs legend set for big coaching job


Former Orlando Pirates stalwart Benson Mhlongo is poised to join Eswatini giants Manzini Wanderers as head coach.

Mhlongo is currently in charge of ABC Motsepe League outfit Mbombela City Lads but is due to arrive in Eswatini this week to finalise the deal with Wanderers.

AmaweSeli as Wanderers are affectionately known are under the guidance of former Sihlangu Semnikati coach Nyanga Hlophe.

According to a source close to the Manzini-based outfit, Mhlongo's salary at the club will be paid by an unnamed businessman based in South Africa.

"Benson Mhlongo is due to arrive to Eswatini to join Manzini Wanderers. His salary is expected to be paid by a businessman based in Mpumalanga," the source tells KickOff.com.

Wanderers spokesperson Mlungisi Ndzinisa says he is yet to be informed by the club's authorities about the imminent arrival of Mhlongo.
