AmaZulu coach Benni McCarthy has revealed the two biggest highlights from his tenure with Usuthu so far.
McCarthy took charge AmaZulu ahead of the 2019/20 DStv Premiership campaign and famously guided the Kwa-Zulu Natal-based outfit to a club-record second-placed finish in the league.
That saw Usuthu qualify for the CAF Champions League for the very first time where they have since successfully navigated the preliminary rounds to earn a spot in the group stage of the competition.

Speaking ahead of his side's domestic clash against Stellenbosch FC, McCarthy revealed that those two achievements rank as the highlights from his spell with AmaZulu thus far.
"The positives for me is definitely integrating the new players that we have. Everyone is starting to gel, everyone is on the same page," the former Bafana Bafana star told the club's media team.
"Finishing second in the league last season, which was a surprise to everyone else but ourselves because we put in the hard work in training, and then topping that up by qualifying for the CAF Champions League group stages.
"That's been the highlight of all our hard work on this field and everyone just being a unit, being a family where everyone looks out for each other. That definitely has to be the highlight of me being the coach of AmaZulu so far."
