Mark Mayambela has been searching for a new club since parting ways with Chippa United a few months ago and is currently training with the Citizens.

The 31-year-old’s club search has taken him as far as Gauteng where he was training with Highlands Park until recently. He was not offered a contract by the Lions of the North.

The Citizens are looking at bolstering their wing position after influential winger Gift Links left for Europe before the close of the transfer window.

Asked if the player has signed with City, assistant coach Vasili Manousakis told "No not yet, just training."
