Baroka FC have revealed interest in four players currently with Bidvest Wits.
The Braamfontein-based club has sold its Absa Premiership status to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila boss Lawrence Mulaudzi.
According to Bakgaga head coach Dylan Kerr, they have identified three of Wits' MultiChoice Diski Challenge stars for their senior team.
"There's a couple of young MDC players that might be available that I'm going to keep my eye on," Kerr tells KickOff.com.
"Honestly the only ones I have spoken about are the young kids. The only people I have enquired about is the younger boys from MDC. Obviously there's a lot of players there we would be interested in, but only if it would fit into our jigsaw.
"So at the moment... until the season finishes you know there's no good speaking to Gavin [Hunt] about it, or asking for Gavin's opinion because they are still contracted. If they are contracted we will be unable to buy them surely.
"The only people I have enquired about are the young boys from the MDC. One is an attacking midfielder, one is a right-midfielder, one is a left-back.
"I have only asked about the MDC players because you know they are going to be available, they are going to be hungry, they are going to be cheap, they are going to have ambition about them.
"If the MDC players are available it's going to be a big ambition. I've watched their MDC team a couple of times, and they've got good young players there. Two I think have been in Gavin's squad before the break."
Asked if there was any Wits player they were planning to bring to Ga-Mphahlele, Baroka chairman Khurishi Mphahlele was confident they could.
"Yes, we are going to sign, we are just waiting for the right time now. But I won't be able to tell you now," he says.
"There's someone but I won't be able to tell you his name, I won't say who he is. We mustn't do that while they are still playing."
