Dylan Kerr's future at Baroka FC has been put in doubt after the club suspended the English head coach.
According to information gathered by this website, Kerr's suspension at Bakgaga stems from utterances made during one of his post-match television interviews this past season.
Notably, the former Black Leopards coach hinted at alleged interference from management in selecting his starting line-up after their 1-0 win over Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of August.
"I know my job. I know my job because I have studied it for 30-odd years as a player and a coach and if people leave me alone to do my job, I’ll make this club a success," he said on TV after that match.
This seems to have not gone down well with management after he was hauled in front of the disciplinary committee for bringing the club into disrepute.
Baroka chairman Khurishi Mphahlele referred questions to club manager Richard Mashabane, who confirms that Kerr is suspended.
"Yes it's true, the coach is suspended," Mashabane tells KickOff.com. "But I can't talk now, I'm in a meeting."
Kerr recently printed the Baroka FC club crest on his leg to add to his collection of football club tattoos after saving the team from relegation.
