With the exception of the signing of Geofrey Massa, Baroka have decided to do their dealings exclusively outside of the PSL.
The newly promoted Limpopo outfit announced a bevy of new signings back in June, all of them coming from the National First Division and ABC Motsepe League.
"Our philosophy, we don't believe in these people who have been playing and have all this experience. Our philosophy is [getting] a player who has played some football and is ready and can play at any level at any given time," Thobejane tells KickOff.com.
Baroka recently clinched the signing of Ugandan striker Massa, a surprise to some considering how they had operated in the transfer window up until that point.
However, Thobejane explains that the club is not concerned what level a player comes from and only whether they will fit into the team.
"That is why, as you can see, we have only one player, Geofrey Massa from Bloemfontein Celtic [who was signed from a PSL team]. That is the way we do things," the Bakgaga mentor stated.
"If we see someone and decide that they are perfect, then young or old we will give him a chance because football is about giving chances - you don't restrict the player."
