Mzwakali joined Swallows at the beginning of the year after a brief stint in Sweden, where he went after leaving Cape Umoya United last year.

According to sources at the Dube Birds, Phetso Maphanga and Keegan Ritchie could also join the former Ajax Cape Town midfielder through the exit door.

It is understood that the club are preparing to bring in a number of new signings ahead of the 2021/22 season, including former Orlando Pirates midfielder Thandani Ntshumayelo.

"Mzwakali is leaving Swallows. The club is still finalising the list of other players to be put on the transfer list. Pheto Maphanga could also be leaving," says the source.

The Soweto-based outfit have already lost the services of midfielder Given Thibedi, who has also gone back to his parent club Kaizer Chiefs after a second loan spell.
