Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila CEO Sello Chokoe has explained how brand new signing Augustine Mulenga ended up being unveiled at AmaZulu instead.
The former Orlando Pirates striker is on Usuthu's books for the 2020/21 season and will be featuring alongside the likes of Siphiwe Tshabalala and Luvuyo Memela this season.
But only after a bizarre situation in which the Zambian was first announced as a TTM player just days before leaving Limpopo and penning a deal in KwaZulu-Natal.
Speaking to KickOff.com, Chokoe says reports they will be taking the 30-year-old's matter to court is not true as they are the ones who gave the player their blessing to move on.
"The Mulenga contract, we did it together with the [Justin] Shonga one because they are represented by the same agent," Chokoe says.
"And then the documents were sent to the agent and the players signed them, and they sent the documents back to us. And the very same agent engaged with us on a few things, then we decided that no if he feels like he's taking the player to AmaZulu...

"Basically there was an agreement, us we signed him, hence I'm saying there was no way that we can unveil a player without signing the player. The player had signed a contract, but that contract has become null and void after we decided together with them that we are going to allow him to go and join AmaZulu.
"They were offered to us at the same time by the same agent. Basically us and the agent talked and she gave that idea to us. We talked, we looked into what we have, and we decided it's okay the player can go to AmaZulu.
"Yes, there is a contract that he signed with us, and yes we allowed him to go to AmaZulu. You know when the window is open there are lots of possibilities, we are also sitting in the same situation with a particular player, we are just waiting for his team to be done with everything."
