Shock twist in Mulenga's TTM move?

Augustine Mulenga could be set to sign for AmaZulu just days after being unveiled as a marquee signing at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.

Mulenga, 30, was confirmed as a new TTM signing with compatriot Justin Shonga in an official press conference on Thursday as part of a 'big reveal' with no less than 22 signings.

However, KickOff.com has learnt that the Zambia international could end up playing for AmaZulu in the 2020/21 season, in a dramatic twist of events.

It is unclear if the player will be signed from TTM or as a free agent after he was released by Orlando Pirates last week and it could be a similar situation to that of Oupa Manyisa, who could also depart imminently despite being announced as a new signing.

According to sources close to the club, Mulenga and his former Pirates teammate Xola Mlambo were spotted in Durban on Saturday as new Usuthu owner Sandile Zungu looks to invest in the club before they kick off their 2020/21 campaign.

With TTM only listing 14 players in their matchday squad to face SuperSport United in the MTN8 quarter-final, with Mulenga one of the major omissions, it raises more questions marks around his future.
