Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Andriamirado Andrianarimanana could start a match for the first time this season on Sunday.
'Dax' joined Black Leopards as a free agent from Kaizer Chiefs in August and featured for the first time in the last 10 minutes against Stellenbosch last weekend as the two teams played to a 2-2 draw.
According to reliable sources at the Venda club, the player will also be part of caretaker coach Morgan Shivambu's 18-man squad that will be at Thohoyandou Stadium to face Bloemfontein Celtic this weekend.
The 28-year-old, who was part of the Madagascar national team squad that went to the Africa Cup of Nations, is again in line to make his first start for the club.
"He will end up playing," Leopards spokesperson Berry Ramunenyiwa tells KickOff.com.
"Now he will be in the plans because he is fit. He will play. We hope he is going to play [from the start] on Sunday, it will depend on how the current coach approaches games but hopefully... remember he [Shivambu] is still overwhelmed by the situation we find ourselves in.
"Everything is in order [in terms of paperwork]. The only thing that is left for him [Dax] is selection."
