Tshakhuma FC are in negotiations to sign former Glasgow Celtic striker Amido Balde provided personal terms can be met.

The Guinea Bissau striker has already arrived in the country with the intention to sign for TTM, according to sources close to the deal.

Balde was on the books of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam this year before crossing the borders to South Africa a few weeks ago.

The 29-year-old could start training with TTM in Limpopo this week depending on whether he can reach a contract agreement with the club.

"Balde is here in South Africa. He played in both Portugal and Scotland," a source tells KickOff.com.

"He is a highly rated striker and is keen to play in South Africa. It will all depend on salary negotiations with TTM."
