AmaZulu spokesperson Brilliant Makhathini has confirmed that Mbatha is likely to miss the KwaZulu-Natal derby against Maritzburg United at King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday.

"He suffered a fractured cheekbone. He is still in the hospital and getting attention," Makhathini tells KickOff.com.

"He will probably miss the game on Sunday."

Usuthu coach Jozef Vukusic will recall either Moeneeb Josephs or Neil Boshoff for the match on Sunday.
