AmaZulu FC have confirmed a development on the future of striker Bonginkosi Ntuli but remained coy on links to former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Keagan Buchanan.
Usuthu have managed to tie down Ntuli following much uncertainty around the player's future last season, when he managed just eight appearances and contributed two goals.
The 30-year-old was heavily linked with an exit from the club but it seems he is now happy to continue his stay at the DStv Premiership runners-up.
Meanwhile, former Maritzburg United and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Keagan Buchanan is believed to have agreed to join the club ahead of next season.
The 29-year-old parted ways with the Team of Choice at the start of the year and has been without a club ever since.
AmaZulu's media officer Nhlanhla Mkhathini was not so forthcoming when quizzed about the new developments at the club, though confirming that Ntuli has agreed to a new deal.
"We have not said much about players, the management is working on them. We haven't made anything official in terms of players, so I cannot confirm or deny," he tells KickOff.com.
"Ntuli, obviously, is our player, but on players we are looking to capture, we won't be saying much at the moment until we do it all at once [in an official announcement]."
Pressed further on whether Ntuli has officially extended his stay with Usuthu, Mkhathini replied: "Yebo."
