Mamelodi Sundowns striker Phakamani Mahlambi could be set to join his teammate Anele Ngcongca at AmaZulu, but a loan move is not so simple.
KickOff.com has now gathered that AmaZulu's negotiations with Sundowns for the 23-year-old striker are proving to be complicated, with several issues holding back a deal.
Nevertheless, talks are ongoing for the former Al Ahly forward.
"Mahlambi could be announced at AmaZulu alongside Ngcongca soon but it's unclear on whether it's this week or next week as both teams will clash this weekend," says a source.
Another insider reveals there are still negotiations to allow those two players to feature against their parent club as Sundowns do not allow their loaned-out players to play against them.
"Both clubs are still talking about the availability of the players. If Usuthu doesn't succeed, both players could be unveiled next week," the second source adds.

With a move for Ngcongca already believed to be agreed, Usuthu media officer Brilliant Mkhathini would not say much about the moves and says he has no information to share with the media yet.
"For now those things are only spoken about in the media, we will have our time to speak about things that concern our team," Mkhathini responds.
Sundowns official Yogesh Singh could not be reached for comment.
Mahlambi's agent Glyn Binkin indicated two weeks ago that talks for his client continue with a number of interested clubs.
