The Urban Warriors have successfully filed their court appeal for the review of arbitrator William Mokhari SC's ruling which saw them relegated last month.
Mokhari SC ruled that Ajax are to be docked seven points from their Absa Premiership matches in which Ndoro featured, with those points being awarded to the teams affected – SuperSport United, Polokwane City and Platinum Stars.
The awarding of those points subsequently saw then-relegated Stars handed a lifeline to contest the promotion/relegation play-offs, while SuperSport were drafted into the top eight – replacing AmaZulu.
However, Ajax immediately turned to the courts to try and stop the play-offs pending a review of the ruling, but Judge Raylene Keightley instead dismissed the case "for lack of urgency".
Judge Keightley also gave stringent deadlines for the Cape-based side to file their appeal for review on an urgent basis, which the club have since met.
The case will be heard on June 14 and 15 in Johannesburg, with Black Leopards' promotion at risk should the review fall in Ajax's favour.
