Kick-off is at 19h30 at Orlando Stadium, with Ajax hungry for points as they lie second-from-bottom on the standings with a point following a 1-1 draw with Golden Arrows and 2-0 defeat at log leaders Maritzburg United.
The Urban Warriors will afterwards play Polokwane City (home), Baroka FC (away) and derby rivals Cape Town City (home) in a busy month for Stanley Menzo's side, who flirted with relegation in 2016/17 following a poor start under Roger de Sa and fluctuating form.
“This is a very important run of fixtures for us. If we are able to get something out of our game against Orlando Pirates it will give us a confidence boost that should serve us well during what is set to be a busy period,” Lebusa told his club's website.
“It will be a tough game, it always is in Orlando, but we have worked hard over the past few weeks and the boys are up for the challenge.”
The left-back continued: “It is very important to pick up points early in the season because over the past few seasons we have been guilty of starting slowly, and in the end we have to play catch-up.
“This season we have changed our mentality – we want to pick up as many points as possible early on in the season and that is our focus.
“It is always difficult to play there, but it won’t be easy for them as well. We are going to give it everything to come back with all three points.”
In team news, Rheece Evans, Toriq Losper, Isaac Nhalpo and Shane Saralina are back at training after shaking off injuries, but new signing Morne Nel faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a groin problem.
