Hlanti to Pirates report rubbished


The agent of Bafana Bafana international Sifiso Hlanti has rubbished speculative reports that his client has signed with Orlando Pirates.

Since the sale of Bidvest Wits to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila, several Clever Boys stars have already secured their next moves.

The player who once kept Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah quiet at the Africa Cup of Nations has also found himself being linked with the likes of Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.

And again after Pirates' 1-1 draw with Baroka FC on Tuesday, rumours surfaced on social media that he has reportedly signed a four-year deal with Irvin Khoza.

"This is not true," Hlanti's agent Sizwe Ntshangase tells KickOff.com while confirming there have been no offers for the 30-year-old left-back.

"That's not true my brother, I don't even want to speak about it. I don't even know the people who write that thing."

Hlanti told this website in June that he was worried about his future and made it clear that he would consider moving if Wits were sold.
