Stars remain unchanged from the derby victory against Bloemfontein Celtic, while Leopards made just two changes from the home draw against Highlands Park in Phathushedzo Nange and Karabo Tshepe.
Stars failed to race to an early lead when Eleazar Rodgers nodded Sinethemba Jantjie’s cross wide of the post on 12 minutes, before Harris Tchilimbou, who starred in last weekend’s Free State derby triumph, saw his goal-bound header sailed wide.
Ea Lla Koto’s relentless persistence finally weighed through, as Thivhavhudzi Ndou bundled the ball into his own net five minutes to halftime.
Leopards exerted their own pressure early in the second half, and it told inside 51 minutes when Mwape Musonda fired in the equaliser.
With the advantage intact, Dylan Kerr looked to kill off the encounter and brought on Lesedi Kapinga for Nange.
Leopards then went ahead through Kapinga's fantastic finish from outside the box as the Stars defence went to sleep.
However, Stars' persistence to get the equaliser eventually paid off, as Rodgers restored parity in the final two minutes of the game to nab a point.
