A big question has been put to George Maluleka after he finally completed his switch from Kaizer Chiefs to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Kaizer Chiefs legend Abel Shongwe believes Amakhosi made the right decision to release midfielder Maluleka when his contract expired.

Maluleka's contract with Amakhosi expired on Tuesday even though the club had an option to extend it until the end of the season, and the Tembisa-born midfielder has since been announced on a three-year deal at Sundowns.

Shongwe believes there was no benefit to keeping Maluleka and Chiefs made the right decision to release him.
"I think for me Kaizer Chiefs has made a good decision to release him. His heart was no longer with Chiefs," Shongwe tells KickOff.com.
"One leg was going to be with Chiefs and the other leg with Sundowns. Bear in mind Sundowns want the league trophy, Chiefs are on top of the log and they need the trophy.
"I wouldn't see him playing for Chiefs at this moment because his heart was with Sundowns. I believe it was a good decision to release him."
'Chaklas' as he was affectionately known during his heyday has thrown a challenge at Maluleka about whether or not he will command a regular place in The Brazilians' team.
"Who is he going to replace at Sundowns?" Shongwe asks?
"There is Hlompho Kekana, there is Tiyani Mabunda, there is Andile Jali. Who is he going to replace at Sundowns?
"At Chiefs he had an opportunity to play and has been playing lately. I don't know if Pitso [Mosimane] will give him that opportunity at Sundowns."
