Walcott to West Ham?

The 27-year-old, who joined the Gunners a decade ago from Southampton, has endured an inconsistent stay at the Emirates in recent years, being hampered by injury and failing to convince Arsene Wenger that he can produce when it really matters.

English publication The Sun have revealed that West Ham, who have punched above their weight this season and are knocking on the door of European qualification, have targeted the winger as an ideal player to help continue their impressive reason into next season.

It is reported that Arsenal will be willing to let go of the English speedster for a fee of around £20million.

Walcott, who is unlikely to make England’s Euro 2016 squad for the upcoming championships, has scored 85 goals in 231 appearances for the Gunners since joining as a 17-year-old, yet contributed just five League goals and three assists in 28 appearances this season as his side lie third in the EPL standings.

Arsenal take on Aston Villa in their last game of the season on Sunday.
