TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has praised coach Pitso Mosimane for becoming the first South African coach to win two CAF Champions League titles with different clubs.
Mosimane took a huge a risk to take up the challenge of coaching the most successful team in Africa, Al Ahly, after his successful spell with Mamelodi Sundowns.
The former Bafana Bafana coach's impact was felt immediately as he led the Egyptian giants to their ninth CAF Champions League trophy last month.
Sukazi says 'Jingles' has proven that as South Africans, we have what takes to take over the world.
"I'm a big fan of black excellence indeed, and I think as a country we've got it, we've got what it takes to spin the world around," he said.
"One example is coach Pitso Mosimane, you know he went out there to Egypt. Who would've thought as South Africans we can have our own coaching Al Ahly and winning the CAF Champions League?"
Sukazi argues with those who think Mosimane had it easy as he found a team that was already in the semi-finals, as eliminating Tunisian giants Wydad Casablanca before facing Zamalek in the final was not an easy task.
"The highest standard of the game, he won it and maybe some will say Al Ahly was already in the mood to win it, maybe you can talk about the league in Egypt, but not the CAF Champions League. He went to Tunisia and eliminated a formidable opponent," he says.
"Also it's not an easy to beat Zamalek, it takes proper planning, which coach Pitso has and it shows he is a winner. He can conquer the world."
