Spurs want Derby win

The teams square up at Rand Stadium on Saturday, a year after Aces booted Spurs out of the tournament with a 4-3 win.   "We go to the match as wounded tigers," says Spurs coach Bonga Mofokeng.   "We are going for the kill and there is no way we will allow ourselves to be beaten by the same team in two successive tournaments. I think we have the upper hand over Aces as we have been playing good football in the last few games."   Spurs captain, Patrick Mubaiwa, echoed his coach’s sentiments.   "They booted us out in the last edition and now is payback time. Everyone is looking forward to the game and we are determined to make things right this time around," the Zimbabwean says.   Aces coach, Radolfo Zapata, meanwhile is confident of his team’s chances.   "It is going to be a tough match but I believe we have the experience, especially in defence, to pull through."   In the previous edition of the Nedbank Cup, the two sides met in a thrilling Last 16 encounter as Aces prevailed over their neighbours.
