A 20-man Amajita squad arrived in Kitwe on Tuesday ahead of their tournament opener with Mauritius at Nkana Stadium on Thursday (15h00 kick-off).
Senong's charges have also paired with North African guest nation Egypt and Mozambique in Group B of the regional showpiece.
"I am overwhelmed by the warm welcome we have received since arriving glad to be back in Zambia since the 2017 AFCON earlier this year," said Senong.
"We are here to build the next generation of Amajita and of course to compete in the region.
"I believe that we will see some exciting football from all three groups and the top four may have an interesting twist to it this year."
