Eagles complete 'OJ' signing

Mabizela has joined Eagles on a deal running up to the end of the season, after having spent the second half of last season with AmaZulu.

Eagles general manager Richard Makhoba has confirmed that, though the 35 year-old will not be available for selection for their trip to Baroka this weekend, 'OJ' will be registered with the PSL on Friday.

“We have just been completing the medical-related issues with regards to 'OJ', and he will be registered with the PSL as soon as tomorrow [Friday],” says Makhoba.

“Though he has now joined us, he is not available for our trip to Limpopo and will only become available for selection for the game that we will play after Baroka.

The former Tottenham Hostpur defender will join former Kaizer Chiefs defender Dominic Isaacs at the Durban-based club, who are targeting PSL promotion at the end of the season.

"He has been brought in because of his experience and I am glad to say that he has been settling in well.

"With the experience that we now have we believe that our target of winning promotion will happen,” adds Makhoba.
