Ngalande, who is linked with a move to DRC giants TP Mazembe, has parted ways with Absa Premiership side Baroka but has made the cut for the Flames’ squad for the competition.
Ngalande will be a key man for Malawi in the attacking positions, but he is not the only player they can rely on during the competition.
Nyasa Big Bullets strikers – Chiukepo Msowoya and Patrick Phiri – have been include in coach Ronny Van Geneugden’s squad.
Msowoya struggled to make a mark during his time with Orlando Pirates, Platinum Stars and Golden Arrows in the PSL and now has an opportunity to prove why he has been selected for the national team.
Bidvest Wits striker Gabadinho Mhango is not part of the squad.
