The 2018 Diski Challenge festival in Tsakane will feature eight clubs: Ajax Cape Town, Polokwane City, Orlando Pirates, Cape Town City, Mamelodi Sundowns, Chippa United, SuperSport United and Kaizer Chiefs.
Entry is free on both days but members of the public will be issued with a ticket as part of access control. Tickets will be available at the stadium’s ticket office on Thursday and Friday from 13h00. They will also be available at activation points in Tsakane. Only two tickets will be allocated per person on a first-come-first-served basis.
On Saturday, Ajax Cape Town will kick off proceedings at 10h00 when they clash with seventh-placed Polokwane City.
Later on the day, Orlando Pirates will play against Cape Town City at 12h00. Six places separate Orlando Pirates (6th place) and Cape Town City (number 12) on the log.
Sunday will see PSL Reserve League champions Mamelodi Sundowns take on Chippa United (10h00) . For Sundowns, 2018 offers a clean start as they find themselves at the bottom of the Diski Challenge table with only eight points from nine games.
Third-place Supersport United will close off the festival with a clash against Kaizer Chiefs (currently 9th) at 12h00.
All four matches will be broadcast live on SuperSport 4 and 10 as well as on the community TV stations available on DSTV.
