Boa Morte was last seen at Pirates training more than a week ago and his whereabouts are still not known.
However, our sources are adamant that the former Portugese international has gone back to England. Boa Morte only made two appearances for Bucs after he signed in January, and his soccer career in South Africa has been plagued by injuries.
There are reports from the Bucs camp that the player has fallen out of favour with coach Augusto Palacios.
Palacios has refused to talk about Boa Morte's future at Pirates and referred KickOff.com to club administrative manager Senzo Mazingiza.
Mazingiza referred KickOff.com to club spokesperson Mickey Modisane, who was not available for comment.
Paul Mitchell of Sivuma Sports Agency, who worked with former Kaizer Chiefs striker Jerome McCarthy to bring Boa Morte to South Africa, also refused to talk about why the player was missing.
"I can't comment, please speak to the club," Mitchell says.
