Sono lines up transfer targets

Sono this week sold influential striker Charlton Mashumba to Polokwane City, but says reinforcements are on the way.

Ezenkosi are 10th on the National First Division table with 20 points from 15 matches, and will look to continue from where they left off before the Christmas break when they beat Witbank Spurs 1-0.

"My friend, it's going to be difficult my friend," Sono tells

"We have just started training. We don't know if other teams will be signing new players and so forth. We want to assess everyone we play with in this league, how strong are they you see. But we are looking forward to the season. We are excited, we are looking forward to beingcompetitive and definitely we will compete.

"Ja, one or two players we will bring over here. One is arriving, he is a local from the premier league. The other one we are still talking to them and he is also from the PSL. We are signing them outright."

On Sunday afternoon Cosmos will host Maccabi FC at Makhulong Stadium.
