Chansa wary of Chiefs

The Soweto rivals meet at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Monday afternoon and the Zambian international admits Chiefs’ performance against Mamelodi Sundowns in the quarterfinals was too good to put a blind eye to it. “I watched that game and Chiefs were on top of Sundowns the whole time. They played very well and we must watch out.

“But it doesn’t mean we will be under pressure when we play them. Every game is different. They were playing Sundowns and now they will be playing Pirates. It will be different. We didn’t do well in the League and we have to win this cup so the supporters can be happy,” he says.

However, head coach Ruud Krol says Bucs’ camp feels the Derby pressure, but says it is nothing special.

“There is always pressure and in a match between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates that is for sure. Of course there must be a winner. You die or live and that is of course different from the league games. But the pressure is normal. It is as important as playing against SuperSport United or any other team. It is normal,” he says.
