After his problems last season at Bloemfontein Celtic which forced him to return to Ajax Cape Town just halfway through his loan deal, then spending the rest of the season on the sidelines, Siwahla is now seeking to revitalise his career at the First Division outfit. FC Cape Town owner Errol Dicks tells KickOff.com that his intention is to get Siwahla – still just 21 – to Europe within the next two years. "’Makalegs’ has signed with us after having been here for the past 10 days. It is a two-year deal," says Dicks. "The intention is to help the boy and find solutions to whatever is actually causing his career not to progress the way it should be. "Instead of merely joining the people who are saying negative things about the boy, I would rather be of help. Hopefully, I will be able to help because he has come to me to help him get to Europe. The main objective in signing him is to get him to Europe," says Dicks. Siwahla has been a free agent since January when his contract with the Urban Warriors was terminated when he returned from his loan at Celtic after allegations of ill-discipline. Siwahla has been in the professional ranks for six years now having made his debut as a 15-year-old but has failed to deliver on all the promise that he showed when breaking through.
