F Eagles’ Nwankwo joins Murcia

Nwankwo, one of the standout members of a disappointing Flying Eagles team, told KickOffNigeria.com that he was looking forward to help the team return to La Liga when he officially joins them next season.   "I just sealed my deal with Real Murcia," Nwankwo said. "It is a one year contract, but I will not join them officially until next season."   The Wikki Tourists midfielder will not return to Nigeria however, but will stay in Spain to train with his new club and get used to his new team mates.   "I am very happy to be here and I hope that everything goes according to plan and I can do well for this team.   "I will stay here until the end of the season so I can get used to the people here.   "I hope to break into the first team when I start playing next season."   His immediate focus, however, is to be included in new coach Samson Siasia's squad to this year's African Youth Championships.   "I hope to be part of the team that will be going to the World Cup."
