The Limpopo outfit drew 1-1 with the Soweto giants on Saturday afternoon, but they squander some good chances in the latter stages of the game.
Kerr praised his side's defence, but felt they were let down by the attackers at the other end.
"Credit to the boys, good response to losing two games back to back," Kerr told SuperSport TV.
"I thought we defended brilliantly, we were resilient, we blocked everything.
"Credit to my players today, they were fantastic
"That last chance from Kabinga, I would have bet my house on him scoring that. He'll learn from it. Fantastic support from the crowd today.
"Credit to the players, we played better football than against Pirates. If only we could have prduced the same performance against Pirates.
"Decision-making has cost us a hell of a lot this year. In training we do crossing and finishing everyday. When it comes to crossing and finishing, it's just a laugh and it's not taken as seriously as it should be. I get angry at the boys because they don't respect finishing training enough."
