Larsen joined Chippa in January and the team has showed impressive form under the former Golden Arrows coach, who revealed his plans going forward.

"About our form of late, I must give credit to our former coaches. I came to a club that had a good foundation, unfortunately results were not coming," Larsen said.

"Going forward we need to make sure we keep momentum. I have guys who haven't played yet and we also have seniors like Daine Klate, Lerato Manzini, Mark Mayambela and William Twala who I believe have a big role to play in this team.

"We are a work-in-progress, the confidence is back from the guys, even though I feel we need to be ruthless up front."

Chippa now aim to move further up the log and with Nedbank Cup still on their menu, Larsen believes every player in his team must be ready to fight at any given time.

"Those who are not playing right now need to look at others and be motivated, be ready for their time because if we want to compete with the likes Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Cape Town City who have raised the bar, every player must be ready," he added.
