Masutha: We'll get it right

READ: Chiefs back to winning ways

Lidoda Duvha have only won once in their last nine matches and are without victory in all their away games this season.

Masutha’s charges created a lot of chances against Amakhosi but were often thwarted by the brilliance of goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune.

“It was a game that was going to be determined by small margins. Chiefs got their goal from a corner, we also got many which we didn’t convert,” Masutha told SuperSport TV.

“The only thing that we need was to convert chances. Also on a couple of occasions [Itumeleng] Khune kept Chiefs in the game. He made some good saves, especially the last one from a corner. The ball just doesn’t want to go in. We’ll still work on it. I believe we’ll get it right.

“We’ve been playing like this throughout. It’s only this game and the last two against SuperSport [United] and Golden Arrows that we didn’t play well. I understand that we lost because we didn’t perform but the other games we’re losing doing the same things. Sometimes it’s tiring to come out and say “we played well but we didn’t score”. The hunger is there but we need to work more on attack and finish the chances in the box,” the former Leopards goalkeeper concluded.
