Chivaviro is set to link up with his Bakgaga teammates with immediate effect, as confirmed by Ubuntu on Tuesday, after penning a three-year deal.
The 25-year-old Limpopo-born forward was an integral part of the Cape-based side last season, managing 11 league goals before an ankle injury prematurely ended his campaign with two months left.
Ubuntu coach Casey Prince has since lauded the former Witbank Spurs attacker for his contribution to the club, while wishing him well for his topflight debut.
"I’m really excited for Ranga’s move. Ranga was a big part of our success last year and we’re thankful for his efforts," Prince said in a club statement.
"Ranga was interested in improving and growing his game so that he could go to the next level. I personally enjoyed spending time with Ranga off the field.
"He’s a man of character, faith, and integrity which will make him a valuable member of the team at Baroka."
Chivaviro joins a long list of new arrivals at the Limpopo side, becoming their 12th signing ahead of the 2018/19 season.
